Hopefully things will soon be getting back to normality and we'll be welcoming back some of our fans who bowed to temptation and strayed to other venues during the recent onslaught of International Jazz stars brought to these shores by the London Jazz Festival.
In December, we’ll be unleashing our Club Skaaville Tuesday_Jazz strike force that will be spearheaded by our ever popular Lively Up vocalist, guitarist & songwriter KAY ELIZABETH who is already fired up, ready and primed to chill you with her fine selection of soulful & entertaining jazz music. Come and check KAY out as she draws effortlessly on her slick stage craft and awesome capacity to deliver her goods musically.
KAYS' vast repertoire of original and standard songs highlight her personable & creative musical attributes. Club Skaaville simply adores the way she explores embraces & experiments with jazz, soul, hip hop & reggae vibes every time she performs.

Club Skaaville’s brand new ‘WHAAGWAAN OPEN MIC SESSION’
Club Skaaville has decided to step up to the play with another night of entertainment at the CHANGA BAR and we hope that this nice petite local and enterprising venue will germinate speedily to be the talk of Highgate and the surrounding areas.
Please pass by on Monday 7th for an informal JAM SESSION & LAUNCH PARTY that will be attended by our incredible performers who have been booked to take part. These artists are standing by to be rotated to host consecutive Mondays at WHAAAGWAAN.
Each week will feature a different artist hosting the night and our first victim is the delightful bald headed & sexy rock chick vocalist known as EAGLE. The sweet lovable EAGLE who’s always in some remote corner of the planet trying to help the disadvantaged will be coming to rock your boat at the WHAAAGWAN launch, closely followed by our crazy & charismatic FUNKY BLUES GUITARIST ZICO WILSON on December 14th.
Folky blues singer and steel guitarist BEX MARSHALL will be hosting on December 21st ably supported by TCHAKA on Keyboards & Sax and any musicians in the house that get the green light from either the hosts or RAY CARLESS.

LIVELY UP TUESDAY JAZZ_LIVE

HKB FiNN delivers undiluted organic roots music with a sweet yet edgy feel reminiscent of Roy Ayers, Gil Scott Heron and Burning Spear all rolled into one.
This Poet/ Percussionist/ Jazzman has also collaborated with a number of musical luminaries including: Nitin Sahwney, Roots Manuva, Viva Sinfonia, The Royal Opera House, Cheryl Alleyne, Soweto Kinch, Zena Edwards, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Tunde Jegede, Electro Deluxe, Orphy Robinson, Nitro Theatre Company and Robert Mitchell's Panacea.
His music is a convergence of Afro Beat, Spoken Word, Hip Hop and Blues. Vocally he avoids the realm of boastful raps and deals more with musical stories about relationships, everyday people and explores uplifting messages about our own potential.
His unique brand of music with elements of ‘Organic Boho Beats’, ‘Conscious Hip Hop’ and ‘Spiritualized Soul’ will take you on a journey of discovery, connected roots and joy.

RAY CARLESS & THE LIVELY UP CREW have been invited to the grand city launch re-opening of the newly refurbished UNDERWRITER’S BAR & LIVE MUSIC VENUE.
UNDERWRITERS is situated just a few seconds walk from Londo's iconic  GHERKIN building that towers over us right in the middle of our prized financial center. We’ll be doing what we do best along with guest Soul Jazz vocalist WIMBO singing all of your favourite Old Skool Club Flavaz and Party Anthems, plus Club Skaaville’s Blues Mama AVA GOLDING performing her Jazz & Blues set & last but not least Skaaville’s LIVELY Up Rock Chick EAGLE who’s coming to FUNK & ROCK YOU OUT.

CLUB SKAAVILLE LIVELY UP
 James Lascelles, former bandsman with Frank Zappa & Steve Harley and Lee Scratch Perry, has been credited with teaching both Zappa and Lee S Perry most of what they know about ‘quirky on stage razzmatazz’.
This talented mesmerizing musician will be showcasing his new album “Aspects of Joy” at the Changa bar one more time accompanied by his fellow virtuosic musical collaborators that include Winston Delandro on guitar (Ali Campbell, Billy Ocean, Johnny Nash), Darren Abraham on drums, (Beverley Knight, Joss Stone & Jocelyn Brown) Tim Herniman on violin & sax.
This is a unique opportunity to hear some of the original compositions written by James Lascelles, so please come and support him, see him playing a wide range of ethnic instruments. James is always very entertaining, so catch him in full flow on this project as he exudes exotic sounds with tons of good humour thrown in to create an extremely entertaining musical mix!
